Medina, Ohio, junior power forward Kenny Kaminski has picked Michigan State for his college destination.
The 6-foot-7 junior picked the Spartans over Indiana and Wisconsin.
“It mainly came down to where I felt most comfortable at as a player,” Kaminski said. “I have always felt really good with Michigan State and they have a great program right now.”
Kaminski said he made the commitment now because he “doesn’t like lying to the other coaches and not telling them 100 percent the truth,” when he knew the Spartans are the team he wanted to play for.
“It makes it a lot easier,” he said. “It is really nice because now I can talk to (coach Tom Izzo) more and see what I need to work on to be better when I do some in.”
Kaminski, who normally plays for Indiana Elite, has been in Orlando this week with the Buckeye Ballers at the 17 & Under AAU Nationals.
